We decided to put them all together to make the DaBell family ginger bread village. 

The village again. You'll notice the one front left. It is painfully obvious that they do not care to keep up with the Jones's

This is what our little ginger bread house looked like 2 weeks later. mmm mmm good! Hey Hansel and Gretel would have done the same thing if given enough time! 

It turns out that a trip to the top was a lot more than we were willing to spend, so we just stood outside and took pictures. It is an amazing building.

The Space Needle was at the Seattle Center. All sorts of buildings were located here. One of the only ones that were free was a water fountain that played music and did a lot of cool spraying patterns. We just liked watching it when the Seagulls got soaked. haha!! dumb seagulls. 

There was a little memorial outside of the hotel signifying the importance of the Naval shipyard to the community here. 

Michelle is standing out in front of our hotel were the USS Turner Joy (DD-951) is docked. It turns out that we can go take tours! 

I hate to say this, but I think Michelle's gun is a little outclassed right here. 

The crew quarters kind of look like a dungeon. No wonder everyone wanted to be out on the deck. I'd get uncomfortable in no time. 

You wouldn't believe the way they just cram the sailors in here. They are just stashing bodies here like a mortuary. I don't think the beds were made with a 6'6" person in mind. 

Michelle is the head engineer inspecting all the dials and stuff to make sure it is working properly. "I can't do it captain, I just don't have the power!" 

I'll drive! I mean honestly, this thing can't be that hard to drive, there is only six hundred thousand little knobs and settings.

This ship is pretty big. I consider myself a large person, but the boat is definitely bigger than myself.

Here is Dave on the Ferry across Puget Sound. Seattle looks a little dreary. Oh well. 

It finally came to an end. We took the Ferry across Puget Sound. It was too bad that the weather was so foggy. This was supposed to be a picture of the seattle skyline in the background. 

Halloween 2005 at Hobble Creek

Michelle and her fellow teachers dress up for Halloween. Kristen was the only original one. Way to go! 

Carving pumpkins for Halloween 2005

Yeah, it's time for the holidays! In preparation for Halloween, we carved some great big pumpkins. Dave could barely carry the both of them upstairs. Every year, we go to the Vineyard Garden center to pick out big pumpkins to carve. They have a huge selection from what they grow all season long. We like to get big ones because they are lots of fun to carve. So here are our two jack-o-lanterns. Trick or Treaters beware!!
